Dr. Jorge Intal, PhD

Dr. Intal is a specialist in the practice of community acupuncture and integrative community medicine. He possesses over 15 years of clinical experience and training with a focus on providing compassionate, patient-centered primary care.
Dr. Intal has practiced at Kaiser Permanente, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and other non-profit organizations throughout the Bay Area. He was awarded a PhD by Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. He also holds a clinical doctorate in acupuncture and Asian medicine and a master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and completed his bachelor’s in Neuroscience at Brown University. Dr. Intal’s clinical interests and emphasis include TCM internal medicine, oncology, endocrinology, physical medicine, behavioral health, prevention, wellness and longevity.
